Artist Crush: Harlinde De Mol

These paintings by Harlinde De Mol of Belgium are dark and sexually graphic and represent the human body as dynamic yet burdensome. I appreciate that despite De Mol’s grotesque depiction of the body – in various forms of decay and amputation – there is unexpected beauty in color, form and composition. There is also inherent beauty in the the organs she depicts in their very nature of sustaining and creating life.

Thank you Ma’am, I appreciate you tiankg the time out of your busy day to read up on my cooking blog. I write short story Westerns. Being originally from Idaho, it must be in my blood. My great grandfather was the last bonified mountain man / trapper in Idaho working for the Hudson Bay company. His log cabin is registered as the oldest wooden structure standing in the State. It is now the kitchen of my Aunts house. I enjoyed reading some of your stuff. I wonder how you got the name starving bear? My native name is Misituha (Big Oak), My Cristian name is Joseph

Love Gretchen! And her son is adorable. And as for Boardwalk Empire I tuhghot they were going there with Gillian and Jimmy, but I was still shocked and disgusted when they did. Really hope her grandson gets taken by someone normal since I don’t trust Gillian with Tommy.
